WOLVES’ star ahead Matheus Cunha has been suspended for 2 video games and fined a whopping £80,000 by the FA.
The Brazilian was charged with misconduct and performing in an improper method after the ultimate whistle, following Wolves’ 2-1 house defeat by Ipswich City on December 14.
Cunha grew to become concerned in an unpleasant spat with an Ipswich member of employees on the pitch as tensions reached boiling level.
The Wolves star admitted the cost and an unbiased Regulatory Fee dished out the punishment and can publish full written causes for the punishment sooner or later.
The ban will come as an enormous blow to new boss Vitor Pereira who has turned Wolves season round.
He has guided the membership to victories over Leicester Metropolis, Manchester United and a draw in opposition to Spurs since taking up at Molineux.
Cunha misplaced the plot after Jack Taylor scored with the final assault for Ipswich – a defeat which turned out to be Gary O’Neil’s ultimate recreation in control of Wolves.
The 25-year-old has been Wolves’ greatest participant this season, scoring 10 targets and producing 4 assists within the Premier League.
Cunha will now miss Wolves Premier League recreation in opposition to Nottingham Forest on Monday and their FA Cup third spherical tie in opposition to Bristol Metropolis.
